I don't want to use PayPal

PayPal is a secure and trusted online payment system. We have no other way of collecting funds. You can pay via PayPal using your credit card if you do not have a PayPal account. Just click on the appropriate button or link when you arrive at our PayPal shop.

I want to pay using non-U.S. currency

No problem! PayPal will convert many currencies to U.S. dollars for you. There may be a conversion charge for this service. Check the PayPal site.

How long will it take to get my download after I pay via PayPal?

Download is immediate. When you complete your order you will be automatically sent to the ebook download page. There you have a choice of two methods of download.

I went to PayPal to buy with a credit card, but it insisted that I log in because I am a PayPal member.

This is a PayPal policy. Sometimes, if you are a member of PayPal, they prefer you use your PayPal account rather than pay with a credit card. You can call them (look for their contact link on the PayPal site) and ask for help in changing your payment method.

I paid via PayPal and went to your download page and clicked, but my browser crashed when opening the PDF reader.

This can happen if your computer is having problems with memory or other system problems. If you bookmarked the download page as suggested in the page instructions, you can use the bookmark to return to the page and try again using Method 1. However, for security reasons we change the page location from time to time, so your bookmark may no longer work after a few days.

Please use our CONTACT form if you continue to have problems.

I don't want to download or use the Adobe PDF reader

Our book is in the PDF format. You may find another PDF reader than the one made by Adobe which you might be able to use instead. Any PDF reader should have no difficulty with our ebook.

I can't afford to pay the high cost of the Adobe PDF thing

You are confusing two products made by Adobe. Adobe READER is a FREE program for most computer systems that you get from their Web site. Adobe Acrobat is the program you purchase if you want to create PDF files. You ONLY NEED ADOBE READER and it is FREE!

I paid via PayPal and went to your download page, but when I clicked on Method 2, my browser gave me an error message saying that I needed something called a "plugin". I didn't get the ebook.

The Adobe Reader is designed to work independently AND with browsers as a "plug in", which is a helper application. Your browser may not have recognized that you have Adobe Reader installed, or you may not have installed it properly. Look on the download page for Method 1 to download your ebook. You can then open it with any PDF reader software you have at your convenience. Please use our CONTACT form if you continue to have problems.

I used your contact form to get some help, but I did not receive any reply.

We respond to inquiries within 24 hours. One of several things may have happened. You may have mistyped your e-mail address, your e-mail account may be filled (this often happens with Web based e-mail accounts) or your spam blocker may have intercepted our reply. We suggest you check your e-mail box to see if it is full, check your spam blocker, and if necessary contact us again.

I don't want a download ebook because I don't trust the Internet. Can I order a hard copy and pay by phone?

Our book is an ebook, not a hard copy. It is virus free and safe to download. We cannot make a hard copy for you at this time. We cannot take orders over the phone. Sorry!

Book Reading Help

Adobe Reader IconThis Ebook is compatible with all systems that can read PDF files (Get FREE Adobe Reader)

I opened the book on my browser in Adobe Reader but I don't know how to save it.

Look under the FILE menu for the SAVE command. You can also use the SAVE icon in the menu bar of Adobe Reader.

My copy of the E-book is in black and white, but I see color images on this Web site. Is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. Your e-book is designed to be in black & white to save you ink if you choose to print the book. The color images are nice to look at on screen, but they use a lot of color ink and that would be expensive for you. Also, note that the book is laid out for double sided printing. This will save you costs for paper.

I downloaded or saved my copy of the ebook and now I can't find it!

Your software has saved the file somewhere on your hard drive, but you don't know where that place is. Do a search on your computer for all the pdf files on your computer by searching for *.pdf

This will find ALL the pdf file types you have on your computer. One of them will be your e-book. We change the filename regularly to prevent piracy, so we cannot tell you what filename to look for exactly, only the pdf type. You will have to open the pdf files on your system until you find the ebook. If you are a WINDOWS user, the chances are that the document was saved in My Documents or possibly in the application folder for Adobe Reader.

I can't print from Adobe Reader

Adobe has a support system on their Web site for dealing with issues associated with the Adobe Reader. You should visit Adobe at www.adobe.com and get help from them.

When I move from chapter to chapter, my page view shrinks down from 100%

The bookmarks and hyperlinks in the navigation of the PDF file are set to show you the entire page when you make a "jump". This is usually less than 100% of the full page size.

How do I use Bookmarks in Adobe Reader?

Click on the BOOMARKS tab on the left side of the window to open the bookmarks area. You will see that some bookmarks have a box next to them with a "plus" (+) sign in them. This means the bookmark is expandable. Click on the box with the "plus" (+) sign to expand the bookmark. Click on a bookmark and book display area will change accordingly.
