This science fiction novel is a scifi trilogy (it has three volumes, currently, Volume I - Star Hopper is published) and is an epic adventure of one man's adventure among space aliens. The UFO scifi technology in Wroussara is based on the aliens bio-engineering rather than the more common and predictable electro-mechanical engineering. This creates dramatic tension and interest because Paul, the hero, is a 'techie" unfamiliar with nature and her ways, preferring his computers, tape recorders and other machines. He, and the reader, must learn a-new his relationship with the Universe, based on his natural inheritance as a Child of Nature, and all that reveals about the magnificence and power of the human spirit.

Individual and Relationship Focused:

The most endearing science fiction stories win the hearts of readers because of the characters and their relationships - something to which everyone can relate. The Wroussara Trilogy focuses on independence of thought and the relationship of scifi characters - aliens and humans - which often result in humorous situations, intimacy, sympathy, argument, confusion, and even romantic and physical expressions of love as they work through the complexities of their lives together.

Believability:

Suspension of disbelief is staple of science fiction and fantasy literature. The Wroussara Trilogy enhances suspension of disbelief by going into detail -- sometimes quite intimate detail -- about how Paul as human is going to survive and manage in an alien environment. Questions about "where are the bathrooms", "what (or who) is for dinner?" and other natural concerns and needs on alien space ships, a UFO, or in alien encounters are dealt with honestly and frankly through highly descriptive passages with some ingenious and interesting solutions, making the story and situation acceptable and understandable. Suspension of disbelief is further enhanced by Paul's memory - which he shares with the aliens - of real people and events which are documented in his conversations (and some include links to actual videos or musical performances).

Psychological Focus:

Good drama gets into the minds and hearts of the characters and reveals them to the reader. This makes them 'real' because readers can relate to them and what they are feeling. The Wroussara Trilogy focuses on the psychology of Paul and his space alien companions, exploring and searching for commonly accepted concepts about emotions, spirituality, conscience, even mystical and spiritual awareness - the "sixth sense" that humans all possess but rarely use. The story celebrates the power of imagination and creativity, cleverness and ingenuity in the characters as they use all their mental powers as well as physical ones to deal with their scifi situations.

Humorous and Fun:

Science Fiction is fun, and some of the most enduring scifi stories have strong humorous elements that give them charm and affability. While meeting space aliens and flying about the Galaxy in a UFO is a serious scientific business, there are plenty of times where humor enters into the situation. In the Wroussara Trilogy, Paul, the hero, deals with his Wroussaran and Scaradin comrades relating as a human coming from a specific cultural influence with social mores that have little or no relevance in their alien cultures. The many unexpected "faux pas" and misunderstandings that result are cause for good humor and sometimes even silly situations, as might be expected in a true alien encounter reality.
