The Story of the Dream Angel Oracle

The Dream Angel Oracle was created by two psychics and card readers, Felista Gallagher and Tim Thompson. They met in a two year class in Shamanism where they learned how to call and interact with their spirit guides. They have been friends and colleagues ever since. Both are accomplished card readers and each is an intuitive psychic.

Tim was inspired to create the mystical Dream Angel Oracle when working with some divination cards. Loving the computer, he wanted to amplify the card reader experience into a computer interactive one... one with a difference. He wanted the users' experience to be personal, and feel like they were talking to their own unique spirit guides. This would be a new form of divination software, something entirely unique -- designed for the 21st century soul. It would help the users get in profound touch with their guardian angels as they appear in their dreams, with all the magic, wonder and mystical experience that occurs naturally in dreams.

He knew this program needed special angel images and he knew a great artist of the imagination, Felista. He presented the idea to Felista and she loved it. She went right to work activating her psychic energy to create images of Dream Angels that would inspire introspection and encourage the imagination, just as dream angels naturally do. Tim took care of the computer programming and the overall "set" design to give users a soothing, relaxation response inducing experience.

Together, they brought in all the best and most comforting spiritual teachings they had learned over the years to give the Dream Angels beautiful spiritual guidance to offer to the users of the divination software.  Soon the work was completed and some very magical and mystical things began to happen.

Tim found a number of undocumented features for his programming of the software, and several times, while working on color backdrop designs, Felista and Tim were amazed when the computer would almost-- as if it had a mind of its own --shift what they were going  for into something completely different, but which was perfect for the program. This felt to them like co-creation with Spirit itself! Were their Guardian Angels helping them out?

The final touch was to add the many musical selections that enhance the divination software program. Tim is a neoclassical composer and he and Felista carefully chose selections that were very appropriate from his many compositions. The only thing that was missing was a "Theme tune".

Tim told Felista, "I am getting something, I have a psychic intuition that the program is talking to me, the guardian angels are about to inspire me. I'll call you soon."

He went to work and the music flowed as if his spirit guides were doing all the work. He met with Felista the next day and said: "You have to hear this!" and played the music. Felista screamed with joy; it was a perfect musical description of the wonder and playfulness of the Dream Angel Oracle. Tim confided in her, "I have no idea how I did it. I know I MUST have done it, of course, but all I remember is sitting down at the synthesizer, working out some passages, and then it was five hours later, and I had this wonderful theme!" That's how spirit guides work sometimes, they take us out of time into their own realm to help us on our way.

And that's how the Dream Angel Oracle flowed from imagination, spirit, inspiration and psychic intuition into a fully functional, engaging interactive divination software program.

The Creators --

Felista Gallagher:

Felista's life work has been dream work. It started with intensive studies at Dream Arts Transformational Healing. She is a Reike Master and an ARCH® healer where she is known as Dream Blossom Rainbow. She gives daily blessings with the Dream Angels for all to receive. She is a card reader using random systems and the magic of empowerment. She is also co-founder of Psychic View Points Entertainment where she has worked in colleges, corporate parties, weddings, and bar mitzvahs, etc, spirit journeying using cards, stones, crystals and sounds. "Water the Garden of Your Soul" is her theme.

Felista has a fine arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art where she designed her own major in drawing and movement. From there she created "Dance Play", a magical participatory storytelling experience for children and adults of all abilities and ages to experience the power of the healing woods. She performs in the Boston area. Felista works in human services in residential settings as a direct care worker celebrating life in the community.

She has been painting in a variety of media all her life. She specializes in participatory portrait painting, most notably Angel portraits with mothers and children, having them join in the creation, making all three the artist of a single work. Her message to the world is "I give great thanks to all my wonderful teachers, family, and friends for their loving light. Shine Bright!"

 

Tim Thompson:

Tim has been reading Tarot cards for over 12 years and is a member of the Psychic View Points Entertainment troupe of traveling psychics. He has also done extensive dream work as a life long interest which began at his mother's knee when she told him about the wonder of dreams. He has read extensively from dream books, participated in a one year long intensive dream workshop in Arlington, Massachusetts and studied Freud's Interpretation of Dreams as well as the dream works of Carl Jung.

Tim has found many ways to express his spirituality, from building pipe organs in Boston area churches, to learning shamanism and practicing psychic source dream work.

Tim is also an accomplished Web master (he designed the Psychic View Points Web site), multimedia designer and neoclassical musician.
