We at ClydeSight Productions get a lot of e-mails from
customers praising our products (thanks!) and some ask if Abundance Genie
can "really work." It does sometimes seem to go against logic that it does,
especially in our cynical society where we have learned not to trust in ourselves
and others.
But Abundance Genie, like all our DSPP programs, is built
on the power and "magic" of human potential. No matter what happens, that
potential is always there, ready to go to work. We just need to get beyond
our worries and concerns and activate it-- which is what the DSPP programs
help us all do.
It is in this spirit that we share this letter we received
from a customer about the power of Abundance Genie. The customer has asked
to remain anonymous, so we are honoring that. But read his story, it is inspiring
and something of a delight. It certainly made our day, and if nothing else,
we hope it makes yours too.
"Dear ClydeSight Productions,
I had to write and tell you of an experience that
I just received, which I attribute to my work with your program, Abundance
Genie DSPP.
I don't make a lot of money, in fact, things have gotten
very tight for me lately. I have a mortgage to pay, bills to pay, credit
cards to pay, insurance-- all the costs we all share, and my income has not
grown as much as it might to help me feel comfortable with this. That's what
attracted me to your program. I know it is insane to think one can wish for
money and get it-- or let me say, I USED to think that. Now, I am not so
sure how crazy it is!
Things have gotten financially tight for me, and
I bought the program hoping, since nothing else I have tried to increase
my income has worked (and boy, can THAT be frustrating!), that somehow, Abundance
Genie would help. There was something in your Web site, the tone of it, the
passion you seem to have for the program, that convinced me to give it a
try. Besides, your price is so reasonable, there's nothing really to lose.
Obviously, I've been using the Abundance Genie to wish for more money.
I keep all my money with one bank in a number
of accounts. They offer free checking and savings and so on as long as I
can maintain a minimum balance. Last month, things got bad, and I went below
that minimum balance. The bank (which is an excellent bank, by the way)
sent me a letter saying that I was under the minimum balance and they were
going to have to charge a service fee of $17.50 per month.
I lost the letter. I don't know where it went,
and I was so embarrassed, I was afraid to call the bank and beg. Do you know
what that feels like, to be so financially strapped in spite of all your
efforts to stay afloat? I let the matter drop and figured I'd "take
my lumps".
The bank was in their rights to charge me a fee, I could not complain about
that. I knew the rules and had agreed to them.
Today, I had to call the bank on another matter.
The customer service representative was
just wonderful and very helpful. He asked, as we concluded the business,
if there was anything else he could do.
I wasn't going to say anything
when for some reason I cannot possibly explain, I blurted out, "I got
a letter from the bank about my minimum balance. I'm sorry to say I lost
the letter, but I remember it said I'd be charged a service fee now. Is there
anything that can be done?"
The rep checked my accounts and said: "I do
see that yes, your balance did go below the minimum. But I also see that
you conduct all your business with us. The balance rule is for a combined
balance... maybe... let me check something. Will you hold?"
I said yes, figuring he'd come back and say there
was nothing he could do. Money is money, rules are rules.
A few minutes later, he came back on the line and said,
"I see you have a mortgage, and you have been paying it faithfully for quite
some time."
I said "Yes, it's with a different company though."
He said, "Actually, your mortgage is with us.
We own that company. Considering your payment record, and that you are doing
all your business with us, in spite of the balance problem, I am authorized
to waive the service charge as long as you are a customer and hold the
mortgage and other accounts. In fact, I can back out the charge you just
received. How's that?"
I thanked him profusely! Such generosity by a large
bank was totally unexpected in this day and age.
He said something very interesting
at the end of the conversation.
"Don't ever be afraid to ask."
After I hung up the phone, I suddenly realized that
I had been working with Abundance Genie, asking for money. And today, I got
$17.50 - the service charge that I felt was really my obligation, not only
returned to me, but waived as long as I was a customer at the bank!
Okay, $17.50 isn't a lot of money (it will buy food
for me and my family!) but I think it is the principle of the thing. Perhaps,
in a way, Abundance Genie is working for me.
That odd feeling, my sudden
blurting out my question in spite of my embarrassment and fear-- is that
Abundance Genie at work? I take it as a sign, that there IS magic in the
world, in humanity and that there is hope.
Thank you, ClydeSight Productions. You are really
on to something. I can't say I understand it, but the feeling I have now--
it's worth a million dollars!"
Our customer has learned the great lesson taught by the
DSPP programs, the magic of human potential. We join him in blessing his
bank for their kindness and generosity, and we know he will do well with
his Abundance Genie. Every journey starts with the first step. For him, today,
he AND his bank took that step. We are confident that as time goes on, they
will both prosper greatly.
