Here I used artificial lighting in combination with reflective material properties to give the illusion of space. I also distorted the camera by using a high (100) FOV. Posing the characters in "action" poses, indicative of motion helps give a sense of activity. Some people think this is the interior of a space ship. Others think it is the interior of some type of Robot factory. Actually, it is modeled after the lobby of a downtown office building!
The green Robby is late for work and rushing for the elevator (it's green too!)
The black Robby is making a deposit at a robotic ATM. Unfortunately, his PIN is in binary and 1,500 characters long. Gosh, whatever happened to that 8 character limit? No wonder the ATM has so many buttons. This Robby will be here for a while!
The gray Robby is running around in his underwear because he forgot to get dressed. Core memory errors can do that to a robot.
Well, it could happen...
By the way, this image is not meant to indicate that people in downtown office buildings are robots.
