As you can see in this rendering, Robby's body color is being modified by the sun's angle and the atmospheric effects of a Bryce 5 sky-- the "Low Ceiling" preset.
The reflection of Robby's material shows the clouds above and there is a "seam" which is really a reflection of the horizon line. So when you apply a material to Robby, play with the reflection levels for the best effect.
Robby's "voice tubes" also create a problem on some monitors because of interference lines caused by "scan" lines in the monitor. Application of a "sharpen" filter in an image editing program (such as Adobe's Photoshop) will increase this problem.
You can also see that the dome material, which is reflective by nature, is reflecting the clouds in the sky. This might imply that Robby is an "air-head".
