THE CATZILLA REVIEWS!
Comments by the Fans of CATZILLA and ClydeSight2.0!
We
get wonderful letters from the fans on the Net about the things we are
doing to entertain them. The letters on this page, copied unabridged from the actual
e-mails (and which are sometimes quite funny in themselves!), are reviews specific
to the CATZILLA series. Thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement. Kitties
always like to get praise when they do something that makes folks happy. Your words
are always a special treat for us.
If you would like to send us a review, just"Contact
ClydeSight2.0!" and THANKS (purr, purr)!
We will try to answer you if we can. BE SURE and send your correct e-mail address
(not an AOL keyword) on the form if you want a reply.

Loved the movies (watched all 5). They were purrfect! Can I get the music
on zip disc? if so, how? Is there gonna be CATZILLA VI? If so tell me please
thanks! And say hi to Clucko! And every one else!
NOTE From CHU:
Clyde's MIDI Tunes are not audio files so there's no way
they can go on a disc. They play through the MIDI player on your computer which
is accessed through your browser. So, the best way to hear the tunes is directly
from ClydeSight2.0! There are a lot of them, but here's an easy way to find
them all. Just go to our MIDI Tunes index page!
Go MIDI Tune Index.

I do catzilla comics of my cat and I think its realy cool that someone else
does catzilla things.Your movies are really awsome.
From: Sherry
Just went to Clydesight and Catzilla V. As usual, it was very entertaining
and aMEWsing! And I was touched by the tribute you've added to the victems
of 9/11--especially including the heroes of the crash in Pennsylvania, who
I think get often forgetten, and probably saved the President and White House. I
was just thinking the other day that as many stories that I've read and seen about
people who worked in World Trade Center, I don't remember seeing any stories of people
who were on the planes.
From: Gigan
I'm a big Gojira (Godzilla) fan, and I thought your Catzilla movies were TERRIFIC!
Here is a picture of Catzilla for you.

Note: Gigan made this for us using type characters, which don't
layout properly in HTML, so we took a picture to show you Gigan's clever design.
Thanks, Gigan, and a great big PURR from CATZILLA himself!
From: Miss Shelah
I must say, your owner must have some funny cat-brain as Catzilla V is hilarious!
I have never seen such a funny parody. What a storyteller! I know that the naming
of Mew Nork will be etched in my brain for ever and I will blurt it out soon. Oh
well, if they can't take a joke, too bad about them. I would like to go there. Please
send tickets when you can! It would be a-mew-sing.
Bye for now,
Your fan, "Miss Shelah".
From: Clarence
Just went through the cinema showing of CATZILLA V. Nice idea with the parallel
universes as a way to maintain your original story ideas and knowledge of NY City,
compensating for the Sept. 11, 2001 tragedy. Comic book quality animation! Fun! The
story is one of problem solving, ingenuity, compassion and friendship. Clucko who
can fly saves Merth by returning "Spinaround" home after it ran out of
fuel. Clucko has feathers, yes? Was Eddu not suppose to like flying?
From: Misty, SnowPuff, Keedie, Tang, Patches, and Boo Boo
We just saw Catzilla V and wanted to tell mew it was wonderful! We laughed like
crazy. Mewr meowmie did a great job with this and all the other Catzilla movies.
We loved them all! Yes, mew may put this on mewr site if mew would like to. We highly
recommend dis movie to everyone of all ages. Purrs, Misty, SnowPuff, Keedie, Tang,
Patches, and Boo Boo (and meowmie Kitty)

Syufy, Guide to Cats at About.com:
CATZILLA V - The Hatching:
Turn down the lights and grab some popcorn and dried shrimp snacks for full enjoyment
of the latest episode of CATZILLA, a parody on you-know-who. You'll laugh, you'll
cry, and you'll be hanging to the chair by the seat of your pants, but you'll thoroughly
enjoy this lavish purrduction from the fantastic web site of ClydeSight2.0!
Note: CATZILLA V is completely non-violent and suitable for viewers of all ages.
From: Willow and Benz:
We just finished viewing Catzilla V. We were really thrilled to learn that the Easter
Bunny has been around for so long. The Egg is just wonderlovely.
What a hoot to hear a baby chick crow like a rooster. One doesn't often see a rather
large chick keeping up with a spaceship. Hat's off to Clucko! Keep up the good work.
From: The Weekly
Purrsuader at Queen
Bitsy's Castle:
Kitties, if you have followed this saga from its onset in CATZILLA, (Fur Does Matter)
through CATZILLA II, III, and IV, you will certainly not want to miss this exciting
(and scary) sequel: CATZILLA V - "The Hatching"! I guarantee your tailfeathers
will quiver as mine did when you see what hatches from that giant egg! And there
are other fearsome things there as well, but I will not spoil your terror... you
must go and scream--er, I mean see fur yourselves!
From: Queen Bitsy:
CATZILLA V was a wonderfurl show! My tail was tied in knots by the time it was over.
If it had not been fur the lovely background effects I would have been frozen to
my seat with terror! That Bryce purrson certainly knew what he was doing.

From: The Wicked Twins (Dwnn and Taliesin)
CATZILLA IV was furry terrifying. We got interactively confused and feared that Baby
CATZILLA would be taken to a galaxy far! far away! We were so relieved when we finally
discovered that Baby CATZILLA resolved the problem fur himself. We are going to tell
our furriends to be sure to catch the show. FYI: Roswell NM *actually* is in Roswell
GA.
Note From C.H.U.: Let's start a TV show: "Where
in the world is Roswell REALLY located?" Dwnn and Taliesin are really cool ctas.
Not only do they look like Gert and Eddie, but have a beautiful Web site you must
visit. It's called "The Tao of Meow" and it is filled with some wonderful
surprises. Go--> Tao of Meow.
From: Moses
Catzilla IV is CATTASTIC! I think I am in love with Gertie first of all.
However, your adventures in purrsuit of all that is PUUURRRE and wonderfull
are Catnificent. In human terms, kudos go to the creator of a wonderfully
entertaining site. In ClydeSight, I laughed and enjoyed the creativity of
human interaction with our beloved animals. More love and light such as this
is needed in the world today. I myself, Moses, was rescued as a mere 5 day
old kitten, drowning in a river of rain (get the significance of the name?),
and have since enjoyed the comfort of a life of luxury, instead of starvation
and death.
From: Benz
My Mom and I just reviewed CATZILLA. All of it!!! We were just overwhelmed. I told
Mom that I would love to take a trip into space with her. But she says it's much
to dangerous and I'm still such a baby. Anyway it was just wonderful fun. Thanks
so much. Your Adoring Fan Benz
From: Robert
Catzilla 4 was excellent but I think Catzilla 3 is the best. My favourite scene was
when the other cat used the Horn-O-Ray. Well, I have to leave. Say bye to your cat
for me.
From: Tommy the Tiger and pals
Incredible! Amazing! Such a relief knowing Catzilla's back in action again. But what
about the Mayor? Is he now Catless? Will Catzilla save the day and introduce him
to a shelter kitty in the next episode? We want another movie!!
Note From C.H.U.: Tommy is a good friend of ClydeSight2.0!
and has a wonderful web site. Visit Tommy and his pals at the great Mark's
Cat(s) House!
From: Queen Bitsy
I cannot say enough in purraise of Catzilla IV! The special effects were outstanding!
the sets magnificent! and the acting...well! I cannot say enough about it! The most
furrightening thing in the whole show was the space alien with two tails! I am glad
it was done with makeup and special effects--it was! wasn't it?--fur I should not
hope to effur meet with a creature like that! All in all! I was totally enthralled!
and I shall certainly write a review of it in the March edition of the Weekly Purrsuader!
Note From C.H.U.: Queen Bitsy is a long time fan

CATZILLA IV - The Giant Returns
The fourth in the thrilling Catzilla series is, I must say, a totally unfurgettable
experience! I was so enthralled by the action, the suspense, the scenic beauty, and
Lady Gertrude Dainty Paws' musical theme, that I did not nap through even a second
of it! I'm sure your tail-feathers will quiver as mine did when the...but, no, I
must not give it away and spoil your terror--although it caused me to jump and drop
my bag of tuna snacks! There are no more words in my vocabulary to propurrly describe
this filmic extravaganza--it is one that you absolutely MUST SEE fur yourselves!
Lady Gertrude awaits you in the ticket office, so hurry befur all the seats are taken!
From: Igen
I just ran through the Catzilla series...you are wickedly funny! I laughed my socks
off! The music was great. The image of Catzilla bobbing up and down on the harbor
was a hoot.
From: Crowley Cats
ConCATulations on the Grand Opening of CATZILLA IV!
Note From C.H.U.: The Crowley Cats run Scrappy's
Nest at their ranch. In February 2001, they hosted a fabulous WedWink for some devoted
friends. We were happy to help out with some mewsic. Scrappy's Nest is a wonderful
cat site on the Net, one of the best. Visit
Scrappy and have a wonderful time.
From: Lois
CATZILLA IV is marvelous!! Graphics exquisite as usual. Also got many smiles and
laughs. Really enjoyed it!!! Keep reviving CATZILLA - may he never retire.
From: Henry Von Tudor
You did it again. CATZILLA IV is so well done. And Gert's midi was absolutely stunning.
Please don't ever retire CATZILLA!!! Keep up your excellent work - it's innovative
and original.
Note From C.H.U.: Henry Von Tudor is grand master

From: Ma Ray
This is the best Sci-fi trilogy ever! It's far superior to anything you could see
at a regular movie theatre or DVD. The mewsic is wonderful and the script is superb!
It's the most imaginative and inovative colaboration I have ever had the priviledge
to experience. In essence my feelings can be summed up in two words: BRAVO! ENCORE!
From: Ashley

all! I hope you do more of these short stories! We just laughed and laughed! The
music, characters and names were just great! We're huge godzilla fans and really
appreciate your humor! Please let us know when the next story hits the net. How did
catzilla come to be? Was he also exposed to nuculear radiation?????? We just think
you're great!!!!!!! We would be honored to have you use our letter! MAY THE POWER
OF THE CAT BE WITH YOU ALL!!!!!!!
Note From C.H.U.: According to Urban Myth, Catzilla
was exposed to an "all you can eat" coupon spending spree at a local supermarket
chain and got into the cat food section. The supermarkets are denying the incident,
of course.
From: Suzanne
What an absolutely purrfect place to visit!! Someone just sent me the Catzilla
link! and after I chuckled myself silly! I decided to backtrack to the source of
this comical spoof. What I found here is so delightful that I couldn't go on with
the adventure until I took a "paws" to send it out to all my favorite cat
folks. Wonderful music! wonderful writing! wonderful pictures...all in all! the Cat's
Meow!! Thanks! Clyde! for this delicious kitty treat.
From: Rusty "The Fricker" Roodles! orange cat of no fame at all

home page! now.
Thanks for a great sight! I especially love to time travel.
From: Sunni
Hi there Clyde! I enjoyed Catzilla so much! I had to drop you a note. I hope
this is only the beginning of your movie stardom. I have a suggestion for you: why
not ZOOORO! the mark of the claw?
From: Ed
I haven't seen Godzilla! but Catzilla is better! IMHO
Note from C.H.U.: Actually, the 1990's movie wasn't
that bad. Beats the one about the flying turtle.
From: Robin
You definitely have permission to use my letter if you want to. I would consider
it an honor! I love ClydeSight! and I especially thought Catzilla was fabulous.
Funny! cute and well-done. I love to visit often! and was very saddened to read the
story of Clyde's passing! yet I was uplifted by his owner's dedication to his memory.
You *will* meet again on the Rainbow Bridge!
From: Tracey
When will the Clyde Meets the Vet site be finished? I just loved Catzilla!
and can't wait for another Clyde episode. I've forwarded a link to Catzilla to all
the cat lovers I know. Best regards and purrs!
From: Lisa
Clyde! you are FABULOUS! Catzilla is one of the funniest things I have come
across on the net.
From: Alan
What a coincidence! Never knew there was another Catzilla out there! If you
e-mail me! I can send you the first of my Catzilla movie posters I'm currently working
on. Not connected to your Clyde! by the way! something else. Alternatively! to see
a roughed up version of that first poster! go to...http://www.specto.clara.net/ and
you'll see it. Stay well!
NOTE from C.H.U. - Sadly, this link is no longer
working. But this was an EXCELLENT movie poster, entirely different from our version.
If someone comes across it, please let us know so we can update the link. Thanks!
From: Benjamin
I LOVED BOTH OF YOUR MOVIES MY BROTHERS AND I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY FUNNY!
CATZILLA III WAS BRILLIANT THE BEST EVER!
From: Sumo!
While my human slave was distracted! I checked out your web site. I thought the Catzilla
addition was purrfect! I wish I could be Catzilla for a day. I would take care
of some business with a few neighborhood dogs . . .and that neighbor who thought
it was so funny when his sprinkler system caught me off guard.
Best regards! Sumo! Siamese-at-large (or is it "large Siamese"?)
From: Jackie
I happened on your page today and truly enjoyed "CATZILLA (Fur DOES Matter)".
You're a cat after my own heart! My two pals! Abigail VanPurren and Zoie! the emergencyback-upcat!
send their regards.
From: Adoregate
clyde! i just had to write tell you how much i enjoyed your performance in "CATZILLA:
fur does matter". rarely have i actually laughed out loud at a website! but
yours is that truly unusual thing - vastly amusing! oh! and it's fine with me if
you post my letter - i'm sending the site for "CATZILLA" to all my friends!
so turnabout is fair play!
From: Lorrie
Clyde! loved your site! especially Catzilla.
From: Desdimona
I saw Catzilla and was overwhelmed with fright! Since I am a very sensitive
kitty who usually enjoys poetry and love stories over violence! I shall not see the
film again until my dear friend Sophie agrees to view it with me. She may bring her
friend Ralph. Now that is one cute cat....! I shall serve an assortment of catnip
appetizers and carefully prepared entrees for the event. With regards! Desdemona
Note from C.H.U.: Sorry we scared you!
But we do understand. The Brooklyn Bridge IS a terrifying
sight.
From: Frances
I love your "Godzilla" story!!!Very! very clever.
From: Kathy
What a wonderful place to visit. My feline computer cover! Archie! and I really enjoyed
Catzilla. Thanks for the fun! Kitt and cat.
From: Conan
Cool site Clyde. Loved the Catzilla. I'm I big Godzilla fan and I'm happy
to say that it would have bean hard to make such a slendid Godzilla rip off on the
normal Godzilla budget of $3.50. You have purrmission (couldn't resist) to post this
e-mail. Got to run around the rest of the site. I never had a cat with eight paws
but I did have two orange females. I guess they are fairly rare. Yet again! Cool
site.
Note from C.H.U.: When it comes to great art, one
cannot be cheap. That's why we invested $4.00 on the purrduction of CATZILLA, all
three of them. Would a cat with eight paws be called
an "Octo-Puss"?
From: Mike
Hi Clyde-you have charmed me. I've been thinking you need a nemisis-Hammstera perhaps?
Or maybe Squidra! or Mothra-oh! someone already thought of that! Or maybe Crowdan?
I could think of monsters all day. What about Mechacatzilla! Oh-a giant Shitzu-Dogasaurus!
OK anyway.....
From: Samantha
I LOVE CATZILLA III!!! IT ROCKS. HOW BOUT CATZILLA IV (FOUR or is that IIII)? WELL
AND MAYBE A NEW MONSTER CALLED MEACHACHARIZARD!!! COOL, FOUR PAWS UP! GERTRUEDEA
(as what I call it for short) ROCKS! EDDU KICKS BUTT!!! I JUST LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
From: Ashlee
I love Catzilla! It is funny and the suspense of "What will happen next?"
is amazing! You do have the permission to put this on you website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Catzilla was better than Godzilla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From: Unsigned
36 paws up YOU WON!!!!
Note from C.H.U.: Gee, thanks! Uh, what did Clyde
win?
From: JJG
You are so cute! especially when you ask for your nose to be scratched. Your Catzilla
movies are adorable.
Note from C.H.U.: Gertie, of the itchy nose says,
Hey, thanks!
From: d dog11
Those were good movies. Catzilla's my hero. Can you please send me a picture of him?
Oh! are you going to make a Catzilla 4?
From: Henri of Twin Brook
I am one tough cat! let me tell you! But catzilla 3 really made me scared! And I'm
a tough cat! Let me tell you! I wouldn't like being turned to stone...Or chased around
Central Park by those big pussycats! Gee! where to hide? What if they smacked me
over the head with a big tree or something? Maybe if there is a Catzilla 4 I might
go to see it if Desdemona will hold my paw....
From: Bill his cat, Bonnie McGee (a.k.a. "Kibby")
I finally got to visit your page and check out Catzilla Theatre! LOL! OTFLOL!!! My
"Kibby" and I really enjoyed the show!!! This is the ideal place for all
cat and animal lovers with their furry friends to come and have some fun!! And Bonnie
would like to share with you her own New York adventures as her gigantic alter-ego!!
:) Thanks again for the laughs and for the furry fun! Great!!!
