Where Do You Go When Everything Looks The Same?

Game Performance (Tips):
The ClydeMaze CM-1 theme is compressed into MP3 using Apple Computer's QuickTime and the pages are designed for that controller. It may play on other MP3 players, but not all the auto features may work. In this case, you may have to start the music using the controls on your player.
The game runs in streaming Shockwave from Adobe. It will start as soon as the first frame is loaded, but performance may be erratic because the game is still streaming. If you wait a few minutes (depending on your connection to the Internet), performance will improve.
The images are designed to display well at 16/24 bit (thousands) of colors. You can set you monitor color depth to 32 bit (millions) and the images will improve. Don't use 8-bit (256 colors). The game looks terrible at that depth.
Clicking the QUIT button ends the game and all points are lost. You 'll be taken to the credits page immediately. Use the back button on your browser, or one of the navigation links: "Play Game" to return to the game page.
Clicking the NEW GAME button starts the game over without re-loading the page, so the game is immediately ready to play again. However, you lose any points you have earned.
You can earn up to 300 points in the game. However, you do not have to earn all points to complete the game.
Once you exit ClydeMaze with Clyde, you cannot return to ClydeMaze to collect more points. You can only Quit the game, play a New Game or go to another ClydeSight page.
Most game actions take place when you release the mouse button. However, some game buttons change state when you press your mouse button down, and then start a game action when you release your mouse button.
You can control the sound volume of the game in a couple of ways:
1. Adjust the master volume on your computer or speakers.
2. Windows: Right-click the mouse
MAC: Control-click the mouse
You'll see a drop down menu of Shockwave options
A volume control will be available in the drop down list.
Note: some options are not available (i.e. Save)
Game Play (Hints):
The D.P.I. (Directional Private Eye) wanders around inside the maze. If you miss it in one location, look for it in another.
- If you are having trouble grabbing the D.P.I.:
Hold the mouse cursor in one place along the path the D.P.I. is following.
As you click and unclick, you'll see the cursor change from an hand to a fist and back again (it is grabbing).
Don't move the mouse. Instead, rapidly click as the D.P.I. comes near. Eventually, you'll grab it.
When you have grabbed the D.P.I. it will move with your mouse cursor until you place it in the "Facing Interface".
The D.P.I. (Directional Private Eye) is NOT required to navigate the maze. However, navigation is more challenging without it and you will miss getting points if you don't retrieve it.
The Informational Panels provide clues to help you with the ClydeDoors.
If you fail a ClydeDoor challenge, you get an Access Denied message. You can click the ClydeDoor activation button and try again, or you can turn away from the door, then turn back, activate the door, and try again.
Some of the ClydeDoors have mechanical/electrical faults. Even a correct answer to the ClydeDoor challenge will not get it to work. But you will know you were correct because of the Malfunction. Had the door been working, it would have opened for you.
When you get near Clyde's location, you will hear him crying. This tells you that you are close.
When you pat Clyde, he will purr and follow you. You will hear him purring behind you until you leave the maze. You won't be able to see him again until you both leave ClydeMaze.
