FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

No Child-- er-- Robot Left Behind!

Model robot helps teach digital arts.

robby the robot teaches schoolWith shrinking school budgets and resources, teachers are looking for quality instructional aids to enhance their curriculum and inspire students. ClydeSight Productions has come to the rescue with a 3-D graphics tutorial based on "Robby the Robot"™ the famous character from the sci-fi cult classic movie "Forbidden Planet"™*

The tutorial, called "Forbidden Bryce", is available worldwide and free on-line at www.clydesight.com. It teaches students of the popular 3-D program, Bryce, digital modeling techniques by building their own poseable robot model based on the character.

"Forbidden Bryce" has already landed in a Michigan school! Kathy Davis-Gonzalez teaches digital media and web production at the Mt. Pleasant Area Tech Center. She scoured the Internet searching for an instructional aid to inspire her students. Finding "Forbidden Bryce" was a godsend.

"As teachers, we have to figure out creative ways of delivering the curriculum in difficult times. Your tutorial uses a very interesting step by step way to do this." Kathy wrote. "It is very easy for me as a teacher to direct my students through this project. I have been looking for such a tutorial for Bryce for years and have never found such a good one. I will pass this on to fellow digital media teachers."

The tutorial is the newest of four Bryce teaching aids available at the ClydeSight Productions Web site. "I wrote it," says Malden, MA author Tim Thompson, "to inspire and help Bryce users. It was fun and challenging to model the beautiful retro design of the robot. I figured the appeal of the character would draw budding 3-D artists to boost their Bryce skills."

That appeal is apparently working. Although "Bryce Robby" is relatively new to the Internet scene, he's already being modeled in Australia as well as by digital art aficionados in the U.S. He's even featured in a Web video produced by musician Rik Darren!

So if you're looking to learn fun and exciting 3-D modeling in Bryce, point your thrusters to: www.clydesight.com and discover the secrets of "Forbidden Bryce"! Popcorn is optional.

ClydeSight Productions are creators of inspiring and entertaining music, multimedia and Web sites.
