Days of Clyde's LivesThe tragic story of
Clyde's last days on Earth.
This section of ClydeSight2.0! records the last six days of Clyde's short life, through seven open letters that were sent out over the Internet to all of Clyde's fans to enlist their love and support during his fatal illness, kidney failure.
This terrible disease is common among cats, but is highly unusual in one so young. Clyde was only seven years old when he was struck down by this horrible condition. The Vet was unable to explain how such a thing could happen.
The open letters are displayed as they appeared on ClydeSight2.0! at that time, and end in the final tragedy of Clyde's death by euthanasia, when there was no hope of a cure, and his suffering was beyond enduring.
Little did I know that when his suffering ended, mine was only beginning. Yet, I would not have faltered, even had I known it at the time.
