Memorial to Harry
![]()
ClydeSight2.0! mourns the passing of Harry,
The German Shepherd companion of Pauline, a great Fan of ClydeSight.
Pauline writes of Harry:
Harry was eleven years, eight and a half months old which was a good age for a German Shepherd. He was a very lovable, comical, eccentric dog who loved having visitors. A friend of mine called Jo who has since passed away used to call him "Healing Harry Hobbs" such was the caring vibration that came from him.
He was diagnosed last year with an illness called Perianal Fistula which we unable to treat.
One of his friends, Ann White, has written a poem in remembrance:
The time has come to say goodbye
To our faithful loving friend
He made us laugh he loved us all
Right to the very end
The days won't be the same without him
We will miss him for quite some time
He will leave a gap in all our lives
But we will remember him in his prime
At last he will be free to roam
In that vast field of sun and light
No restrictions...no aching bones
Just endless fun as his soul takes flight
So farewell Harry...my friend my mate
As the tears fall from our eyes
You touched our hearts in so many ways
Its with love we say our goodbyes.
Let us remember Harry and all our animal companions always in our hearts, our dearly departed, and treasure the lessons they taught us.
Let us always, as Sir Triffan Gentlecat so brilliantly said of Clyde Big Paws:
"Keep the Memory Alive"
