Letters from Clyde's Friends - Page 2

Clyde,

I am not too good with words but I'll try my best. I wish I would of gotten to know you. From what I have read you were a very happy cat. I hope you find peace & love at the rainbow bridge. I know it's not home but you'll get used to it. We all miss and love you.

purrs & pounces,

FesterMan

We all, in CLAW, knew Clyde. He has now crossed the Rainbow Bridge on us. He wasn't the oldest kitty in CLAW, either. He was only young. And this scares me since I am nine, an old kitty. Around the bend somewhere, at sometime, we will all cross that beautiful bridge that they call the Rainbow Bridge. And we will leave our loved ones. It is a bump in life. There are many bumps in life. Every time something bad happens to you, there's another bump. There is a road somewhere out there called The Road of Life and we are all traveling upon it while we are alive. There are the bumps, the boring hours, and the joy. But that road comes to a stop. It stops at the Rainbow Bridge, and there, the angel comes along and swoops you out of you car! And she brings you across the bridge. That's just the way life is. All we kitties have a different length of a road, that's how we pass away at different ages. But our roads meet so that we have friends and enemies so that we can share the joy, the boredom and the bumps together. And so that we will have loved ones to miss us when we cross.

And Clyde Big Paws road met up with all of our roads. We enjoyed much with him, and now we all share this bump. Maybe it was him who brought us all together! And if it was, let us all thank him. But now, Clyde's road has ended. He has made his final stop, not to use the litter box, but to cross that wonderful but horrible bridge. We must all thank God for the happy times, the sad times, and all that we shared with Clyde. Allow us to bow our heads and thank Him for everything. And let us bow our heads and heads and thank Clyde for everything! Let us pray together that Clyde had fun with us and that he is happy! That he will never forget us and we promise to ALWAYS remember him. Let us say Amen for we have made a promise that we will all keep.

Now, allow me to step down, for other kitties must speak. Thank you.

To My Dear Friend Clyde,

How heavy my heart is to know that you have gone over the bridge. I realize you are released from your pain, but Clyde, with your loss my pain commences. Dear Clyde, we were such good, dear friends. I was always so flattered that you liked me - because you were the brilliant one. Your presence shown on the internet with grace and style - and always with your special warmth and wit.

Your generousity extended to everyone. You were always helpful to us all. Always 'there' for us all. Always a shining example to us all. Perhaps you were always meant to be like a dazzling meteor - flashing across the vast night sky in a blaze of glory and brilliance.

We will miss you. Chu will miss you. I, dear friend, will always miss you. But .. you are not gone, dear friend, because I will always hold you in my heart with love and fondness and with gratitude that I knew Clyde Big Paws, Feline Unit 236.8v2, and could call him friend.

I Kitty, have never had the pleasure of talking to Clyde, but I have heard his music. (sniff,)

But I know that if a cat can write such beautiful music, he must be a nice cat himself. I say that the music of Clyde Big Paws will live forever in cat history.

Kitty
