The bed is so big and
so soft and so fine,
but it's not much for hiding,
a cat or his twine.

The bed is for sleeping,
when Clyde hears the call,
"Hey Clyde, it is bed-time,
come out of the hall !

Come jump on the covers,
and curl up so cozy
down there by my feet,
which don't smell too rosey."
