A Note for Those of You in a Hurry (and, aren't we all?):
This section of ClydeSight2.0! uses some pretty fancy animated gifs, which take
a while to load. Many of them repeat, so the next time they are called, they will
load a lot faster if they have been cached to your browser. Clyde apologizes for
the delays (especially on those s-l-o-w Internet days), but felt that the gifs looked
so good, you'd understand. This will only happen to you the first time you play the
game. On repeat visits, things will move faster. Clyde has tried to arrange it so
that the gifs load while you are reading the text, so by the time you get to a gif,
it's all set for your viewing pleasure. Thanks for your patience!
Virtual Reality is everything to Clyde, and his VR engines
come from Virtus Corporation.
Clyde was busy rearranging his Virtus' VOYAGER VRML program code so he could
win Virtus' elusive "VRML Site of the Week" award when he made a typo and
inadvertently turned his computer into the world's first Virtual Reality TIME MACHINE!
Programmer Clyde gets zapped.
He has been catapulted into the Time Vortex and will land
somewhere in history, changing the way things were to the way things never should
have been.
So, it remains for YOU to save the world, and restore the
universe to its normal order.

reality, click on the time rings below and follow Clyde into the Time Vortex.
Once there, you can follow Clyde to any of his temporal stomping grounds and correct
the problems his presence has caused by answering a simple question about the period
Clyde has altered.
If you answer correctly, the balance of the universe
will be restored, and you can return to ClydeSight2.0!.
If you answer incorrectly, you, and Clyde will return
to the Time Vortex, and the distortion will continue.
