While it would seem more sensible for Edison to have said:
"Testing, testing, 1,2,3,4.", he didn't.

Instead (for some reason) he recorded:

Mary had a little lamb,
it's fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go.


This curious recording is
preserved, and you can still hear it today, even on the Internet.
Clyde bets Edison never thought of that!

Sadly, you didn't know that.

But, take heart, your mistake means that you get to play around in time
(or waste time) with Clyde some more.
You must return to the Time Vortex and pick another alternative in time.
