From The Crystal Cauldron:

"There is so much I want to say about this book! I loved it. I really enjoyed reading The Wroussara Trilogy - Volume I - Star Hopper. It was a new experience for me because I'm not normally a fan of science fiction. I expected I would not be attracted to a book about life with space aliens and UFO s. Was I ever wrong!

I am pleased to say the book blew away all my expectations and preconceptions and goes way beyond the usual science fiction - alien abduction - UFO type of fare. I was delighted and very pleasantly surprised by this novel and it has all the elements of classic literature.

Because there are so many surprises in the book and I don't want to spoil it for anyone, I will speak in general terms about what makes this such a great read and why I think anyone would enjoy it (and it really IS a great read).

First of all, I was captivated by the characters and enthralled with the story line. The characters seemed almost alive and I felt a relationship with them. I found myself sympathizing with them and their situations, almost as if they were friends. I loved reading their conversations with each other and sometimes found myself thinking, 'Yes, I would have said or done something like that.' But at other times, they caught me completely by surprise, much as human friends do, and made me stop and think! This gives them true dimension and what can I say? I just love them, even the 'bad space aliens'.

Secondly, the story line grabbed my interest and sparked my imagination. It IS a real page turner! I found it intense, thrilling, humorous and I was utterly amazed by the sheer detail in the book. At times, it was like seeing a movie in my mind. The descriptions in the book are so clear and interesting that it really made me feel like I was there, on another planet, looking at fantastic creatures or on board an alien spaceship or UFO! And the "science" in this science fiction novel is very well explained, so it is easy to understand and very plausible.

Third, the book is actually thrilling! At times it kept me on the edge of my seat as I wondered what would happen next and I tried to second guess the plot. There are so many twists and so much is unexpected that it kept me guessing all the way through. I think this accounts for some of the 'page turner' aspect of the book. It's hard to put it down when you are dying to know how it will turn out, how a character might escape or solve a difficult problem. I really liked that!

Finally, and unexpectedly, the book is quite funny! The characters and their interactions just naturally run into trouble at times with misunderstandings and confusions that might arise when humans and space aliens get together. These are handled in a such a good natured humorous fashion they they often provide comic relief in tense situations. Yes, at times the book had me laughing out loud! At times I thought, 'This is so delightful.' Yes, it seems that even space aliens can have a sense of humor!

I give this book very high marks! I feel that there is something in it for all readers, whether you are a scifi fan or not. It's the characters, the action and the story-- okay, it IS about space aliens, UFO s and the like-- but it goes beyond that into a real examination of the human condition and values we hold that well may be universal. The novel is rich in food for thought.

OH, another BIG plus is that this is an EBOOK! Normally, those scare me and I shy away from them. Not to worry! The publisher, ClydeSight Productions, put this out in an extremely professional format. It was amazingly easy to read on my computer. I like their concept of using hyperlinks, (like a web site) to make it easy for me to get around, and the links to music and videos added to a sense of realism. Of course, I can also print it out, but what a great format for being environmentally aware! Bravo to ClydeSight Productions for this approach!

In short, The Wroussara Trilogy - Volume I - Star Hopper was a joy to read and in my opinion a great work of ART. I think you'll just love it and like me will anxiously await the publication of Volume II!"

The Wroussara Trilogy Volume I - Star Hopper is from the category: ebooks. It is science fiction (scifi) and deals with aliens and their UFO who travel in space to meet and rescue humans. It is a scifi ebook about space aliens and their UFO who rescue a human from an imaginary blob. A science fiction ebook that is not as silly as it seems.
